About Our Theatres

Our Projectors

The Grundy Community Center has the best projectors available.
Housing 3 Strong International 35mm fully automated projectors, they are all
capable of playing both movie style formats, flat and scope. Our projectors are
accommodating the Osram X2000 projection bulbs to insure that our viewers
here at the Grundy Community Center receive the best quality picture available.

Our Sound Systems

All of our theatres at the Grundy Community Center fully support Dolby Digital
Sound and Dolby Digital Surround Sound with the use of Dolby Laboratories CP500
audio processors and digital sound heads, immersing you with the best quality
sound available.  With 3000 watts of power, driving 34 Professional THX certified JBL
Speakers and 15 JBL subwoofers per cinema; we guarantee that you will be immersed
with crystal clear, mind blowing audio.

* The Grundy Community Center has ADA Hearing Devices for the Hearing Impaired.

Our Seating

The Grundy Community Center has plenty of seating for everyone. Housing 178
seats in Cinema 1, 123 in Cinema 2, and 111 in Cinema 3, we are sure that you
will get a great movie experience no matter where you sit in our theatres.
